Since 1952, CHF International has worked in more than 100 countries worldwide. Currently we work in an average of 30 countries per year. Our mission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low- and moderate-income communities around the world, helping them to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions. • More than 115,000 beneficiaries received new housing or shelter improvements in post-disaster and emergency environments.
• Hundreds of low-income artisans have improved their skills and expanded their businesses, increasing revenue by US$176,000.
• Small business entrepreneurs have received US$47 million in micro-credit housing and business loans, including 8,400 loans made directly to women borrowers.
• 10 million people, 37% of them women, benefited from CHF community projects in agriculture, environment, education, health.
• 488,000 individuals received more than 3.6 million loans.
• More than 1.5 million people improved their livelihoods through employment and skills building programs.
• Over the past two years, CHF’s worldwide programs have assisted 30 million people.
