 USAID 
USAID is a U.S. government agency that provides humanitarian aid and assistance for development to other countries.  With headquarters in Washington, D.C., USAID's strength is its field offices around the world. We work in close partnership with private voluntary organizations, indigenous organizations, universities, American businesses, international agencies, other governments, and other U.S. government agencies. USAID has working relationships with more than 3,500 American companies and over 300 U.S.-based private voluntary organizations.

 AusAID is the Australian Government agency responsible for managing Australia's overseas aid program. The objective of the aid program is to assist developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia's national interest.

 CARE was established in 1946 as part of an international network bringing emergency relief to the people of Europe. CARE responded with the first-ever “CARE packages” — cardboard boxes filled with food, toys, and a message of hope and compassion. Ever since, CARE has been a driving force in the global movement to end poverty and help victims of disaster.

 AIG
American International Group, Inc. The AIG Disaster Relief Fund ("DRF") is a global charitable organization that was formed by American International Group, Inc. ("AIG") to encourage a wide range of philanthropic endeavors, including providing assistance to victims of manmade and natural disaster and emergencies around the world. The DRF is funded by generous donations from AIG and its employees, whose contributions are matched by AIG.

 Alanis
A generous contribution by singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette is enabling one of the communities most severely impacted by last December’s earthquake and tsunamis to access the critical economic opportunities they need to reestablish productive lives. Through a partnership with CHF International, Alanis Morissette’s onation is empowering a local community-based organization in Indonesia’s Aceh province, Udeb Saree Lhok Seudu, to undertake several important economic revitalization projects that will provide tsunami victims with the resources they need to thrive.

 American Red Cross
American Red Cross has been the nation's premier emergency response organization. As part of a worldwide movement that offers neutral humanitarian care to the victims of war, the American Red Cross distinguished itself by also aiding victims of devastating natural disasters. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, always with the aim of preventing and relieving suffering. Today, in addition to domestic disaster relief, the American Red Cross offers compassionate services in five other areas: community services that help the needy; support and comfort for military members and their families; the collection, processing and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products; educational programs that promote health and safety; and international relief and development programs.

 AmeriCares
AmeriCares is a non-profit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization. It provides immediate response to emergency medical needs, as well as supports long-term humanitarian assistance programs for all people around the world, irrespective of race, creed or political persuasion. Since its founding, AmeriCares has provided more than $6 billion of aid to 137 countries. To accomplish these results, AmeriCares assembles product donations from the private sector, determines the most urgent needs and solicits the funding to send the aid via airlift or ocean cargo to health and welfare professionals in the indigent locations.

 Briggs & Stratton
Briggs & Stratton is the world's largest producer of air cooled gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment. Briggs & Stratton designs, manufactures, markets and services these products for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. CHF International distributed 242 generators and 60 water pumps donated by motor-equipment manufacturer, the Briggs & Stratton Corporation. The much needed equipment will assist hundreds of tsunami victims remove flood waters, provide lighting and electricity, and power equipment to maintain their businesses.

 DRI
Direct Relief International provides medical material aid including medicines, medical supplies and equipment to strengthen in-country health efforts around the world to improve the quality of life for the most impoverished people. In 2006, Direct Relief provided over $200 million in direct aid through medical material assistance and targeted cash grants serving 23.8 million people in 56 countries worldwide. During each of the past five years, each dollar spent has provided between $25 and $35 wholesale of medical material specifically requested by in-country health professionals to care for patients.

 OCHA
OCHA, a department of the UN Secretariat, operates through a network of field offices which support UN Humanitarian Coordinators and country teams. It also maintains regional support offices and Regional Disaster Response Advisors in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. OCHA facilitates the work of operational agencies that deliver humanitarian assistance to populations and communities in need. The UN Humanitarian Coordinator (HC) has overall responsibility for ensuring coherence of relief efforts in the field. OCHA supports the HC in needs assessments, contingency planning and the formulation of humanitarian programmes. OCHA also provides response tools, and advocacy and information services.

 The World Bank
The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. The World Bank is made up of two unique development institutions owned by 185 member countries—the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). Each institution plays a different but supportive role in our mission of global poverty reduction and the improvement of living standards. The IBRD focuses on middle income and creditworthy poor countries, while IDA focuses on the poorest countries in the world. UNICEF

The lead UN organization working for the long-term survival, protection and development of children. Its programmes focus on immunization, primary health care, nutrition and basic education.UNICEF's work is carried out in 191 countries through country programmes and National Committees. Some 88 per cent of the organization's approximately 7,200 posts are located in the field. There are eight regional offices and 126 country offices worldwide, as well as a research centre in Florence, a supply operation in Copenhagen and offices in Tokyo and Brussels.
